The FED is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) private foundation, established in 1986 by Dr. J. Robert Beyster to help promote the concept of broad-based, participative employee ownership and entrepreneurism, and contributions are tax-deductible under U.S. law.

Donation to support Essay Contest initiative:

Donations made to this category will benefit our Creating Wealth by Sharing Wealth National Essay Contest. Each student shall receive a copy of The SAIC Solution. The contest is fostering creative thinking among university students about sustained growth of 21st century companies.

  • 200 students with a donation of $5,000
  • 100 students with a donation of $2,500
  • 40 students with a donation of $1,000
  • 20 students with a donation of $500

The FED aims to collaborate with major business and technical graduate schools as well as undergraduate programs across the nation’s campuses.

You may also specify a professor at a university of your choice, or contribute to a pool of universities who have expressed interest in participating.
